A big congratulations to the Hayden Wildcat Spirit Concert Band! They attended the Worlds of Fun Music Festival, and competed against 1A through 6A bands from Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, and Texas. The judges were nationally known composers and NCAA collegiate band directors, with one of them being the composer of the first song Hayden played. Hayden received a 1 Superior rating, and took first place in their 4A division. Only three 1 Superior ratings were given out over the entire weekend, with 60 bands competing. Congratulations to all of the Concert Band members for this significant achievement!
