STUDENTS VISITING COLLEGES
1.
HAYDEN
STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TWO VISITS THAT WILL COUNT AS EXCUSED ABSENCES.
2.
THE
STUDENT MUST PICK UP A COLLEGE VISIT FORM IN THE GENERAL OFFICE.
3.
A
COLLEGE ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE MUST SIGN THE FORM STATING THE STUDENT
VERIFYING
THE VISIT.
Parents should visit online and download a
registration
form for the day the college is hosting visits.
There is usually a fee involved, since lunch will be provided. (This visit should be to the college they are
seriously considering attending. Usually
it is their admissions office who handles this, so going to the college
admissions office link on line should lead you to visit dates and registration
forms.
Showing up at a college
without the admissions office knowing of their arrival, is non productive—since
they did not schedule a tour for the students.
Each college has regular scheduled visit dates,
designed to show the student more than they could by just walking around by
themselves, not really knowing where they are going or meeting the right people
who can help them.
