Hayden High School was founded as Assumption High School in 1911 by Father Francis Hayden,
pastor of Assumption Parish in Topeka, Kansas.

The school is operated by the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
Hayden currently has over 470 students. The motto on the school crest reads: Deus Scientia et Caritas--God is Knowledge and Love. |
