The 9th grade physical education section includes the following activities: tennis, volleyball, touch football, soccer, basketball, softball, badminton, team handball, table tennis, and many recreational games. A fitness program is also conducted throught out the year. The health curriculum includes the following subjects: nutrition, physical fitness, first aid, CPR, sex education, pregnancy and childbirth, AIDS education, drug and alcohol abuse and personal and mental hygiene

This class will cover individual sports as well as team oriented activities. Activities will include: tennis, volleyball, touch football, soccer, basketball, team handball, bowling, archery, badminton, pickle ball, table tennis, softball and golf. A fitness program is conducted throughout the year. This is only a semester class so it is possible every activity will not be covered due to limited time outdoors. Writtentests will be given to assess understanding of rules, scoring and strategy. Students will provide payment for bowling and golf.

This class will consist of aerobic and muscle toning activites. Health issues will be discussed periodically. Students will reach their heart rate daily and understand the benefits in doing so.

This class will cover individual sports, which require concentration and technique. These sports include golf, archery, table tennis, tennis etc. Written and physical fitness tests will be a part of the course. Students will provide payment for bowling and golf.

This class will consist of weight lifting 3 days a week. Cardiovascular conditioning, agility, and quickness drills will also be included.
*Seniors need to choose between Weight Training and Advanced P.E. Seniors cannot take both unless enrolling in Weight Training during zero Hour.
*Dress for all classes: Blue shorts, P.E. T-shirts (shirts must be purchased from instructor), white socks, and tennis shoes. ONLY RUBBER SOLD TENNIS SHOES WILL BE PERMITTED. NO BLACK SOLES.
