Seniors Josh Beuerlein, team captain Justin Gomez, Grant Turner, and Matt Zeleznak, and junior Sarah Garvin got off to a great start with a 1st place finish out of 14 teams at Royal Valley.
Justin, Josh, Sarah, Kailyn Hendrickson and Sarah Statler took 1st out of 16 teams at Mill Valley with a record of 9-1.
Josh, Grant, Matt, and Sarah recorded a 4th place finish out of 14 teams at Olathe South in December.
Kailyn, Sarah Stadler, Mark Sankoorikal, and Justin Sheehy took 3rd place out of 12 teams at the Santa Fe Trail Tournament.
Justin G., Josh, Grant, Matt and Sarah Stadler took another 1st place our of 14 teams at Seaman to finish out December competition.
Most recently, Justin, Josh, Grant, Matt, and Sarah competed against 100 other teams at the Wahsburn/WIBW "Hi-Q Super Saturday" tournament on for the chance to play on the televised "Hi-Q" program next February. They finished 2nd out of all 4A teams and also finished amount the top 16 of all the teams who competed which qualifies them for at least one round on the TV Hi-Q show.
JV highlights so far this season include a 2nd place finish
out of 12 teams at the Wamego tournament by the team of Caroline Dittamo,
Joey Fasl, Bryce Regier, and Brandon Volz. Also the JV team of Matt Bassett,
Justin Sheehy, Caroline Dittamo, and Joey Fasl took 2nd out of 14 teams at
the Seaman JV tournament.
